Who Created the Heavens and the Earth? (Genesis 1:1)
The Bible begins with the words, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1).” It is difficult to imagine nothing: no white room, no bright light, just nothing. Whether over seven literal days or through some instantaneous initiatory event, like a big bang, the Bible affirms that God spoke all creation into existence. Nursing In a Fallen World (Jerimiah 30:17)

I have been in the nursing profession for 10 years now. I am an LPN and have experienced nursing in a hospital setting, home health, and now in family practice. We in America, despite the dysfunction of our medical system, live in a time and place of unprecedented health benefits. Although many people do not get the health care they need, many do. Fatherhood (Ephesians 3:14-15)

As men, as fathers our model is God the Father.
A good Father is a miracle formed by God. No man has the necessary gifts, strength, and determination to love a woman and their children in a way that happily and selflessly sacrifices for their needs and consistently leads them to Christlikeness.
Many of us grew up with fathers that did not lead their children to God and his love; instead they thoughtlessly and selfishly provoked us to discouragement and anger. Continue reading

The Fear of God, what does it mean? God loves us, he is our Father yet he is a Holy Supernatural being so far removed from us it that it is death (Exodus 33:20-22) for sinful humans to look upon him. The Lord Lovingly Descends to Our Doubt (John 20:25-29)
In C.S. Lewis’ The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe, Peter and Susan are troubled by their youngest sister Lucie’s claim she had entered a magical world through a wardrobe in a large, old house. Lucie claims their brother Edward visited this world too, but Edward denies it. Peter and Susan decide to visit the professor, who owns the house, for advice.
